{"id":1387,"date":"2026-09-08T15:46:31","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T15:46:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sollera.org\/?post_type=events&#038;p=1387"},"modified":"2026-09-10T19:47:37","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T19:47:37","slug":"harvest-moon-fling","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/sollera.org\/uk\/blog\/events\/harvest-moon-fling\/","title":{"rendered":"2026 Harvest Moon Fling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more than four decades,&nbsp;<strong>Harvest Moon Fling has brought our community together in support of Sollera and the people we serve.<\/strong>&nbsp;What began as an actual dancing \u201cfling\u201d has grown into a gala\u2014and one of Sollera\u2019s largest fundraisers of the year. Each October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, guests gather for an evening of connection and fun, including live and silent auctions, wine and seltzer tasting courtesy of Cash Wise Liquor, heavy hors d\u2019oeuvres, a photo booth courtesy of Odie Photo Booth, and a program that brings guests closer to Sollera\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The evening is fun, but its purpose runs deeper. Formerly the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, Sollera provides&nbsp;<strong>counseling, 24-hour crisis advocacy, school-based support, and prevention education at no cost<\/strong>, alongside offender education and safe parenting time and exchanges. Together, these programs allow us to respond when harm happens, support healing, strengthen safety, encourage accountability, and work further upstream to prevent future harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Harvest Moon Fling is an invitation to be part of that work.<\/strong>&nbsp;Proceeds help sustain Sollera\u2019s programs and ensure victim-survivors can access advocacy and counseling without being financially responsible for their victimization. Together, we\u2019re working toward the future we all want: a safer community with less violence and abuse.
